The Beresford Watchdog boys cross country team won the Jesse James Invite in Garretson on Tuesday, September 10th. The team had a total of 34 points. The girls team did not have enough varsity runners to register a team score.
Hunter Penn finished second individually with a time of 17:50.72. Espyn Klungseth placed eighth with a time of 19:10.65. Noah Halvorson (16th) finished in 20:01.90. Oliver Merriman (17th) was right behind at 20:03.19. Caleb Hansen (20th) had a time of 20:07.00. Henry Huether (25th) finished in 20:15.71, and Marcus Aasheim (46th) had a time of 21:39.06.
Ella Merriman had a top 10 finish, placing sixth, with a time of 22:39.68. Lillie Boden (27th) had a time had a time of 25:11.19, and Kylie Mockler (30th) finished in 25:52.78.
