The Beresford Watchdogs earned their second straight road win on Friday, August 30th in Parker. The Watchdogs used a strong second half in their 34-12 win.
Ashton Oberle connected with Malachi James on a five-yard touchdown pass with 8:11 to go in the first quarter to get Beresford on the board first, 6-0. Parker would tie the game moments later. With 7:52 to play, the Pheasants scored on a 70-yard touchdown pass. The Watchdogs broke the tie after a five-yard touchdown pass from Oberle to Payden Hoffman with 3:54 to go. They made the two-point conversion to go ahead 14-6.
Beresford would get two more scores in the second quarter. Oberle had a 20-yard touchdown pass to Elias Perez with 6:49 to go. Oberle had another touchdown pass to James, this time from 33 yards away with 1:22 left in the first half. Both extra points were made, and the Watchdogs led 28-6 at halftime.
Neither team was able to get on the board in the third quarter. Parker cut the lead to 28-12 with 8:25 left in the game after a 15-yard touchdown pass. Oberle had his fifth touchdown pass of the game after a 22-yard connection to Hayden Homandberg with 2:17 to play.
