The Beresford/Alcester-Hudson Black Sox 14U team had their season end in the Region 7A tournament on Tuesday, July 16th. The Black Sox fell to Lennox for the second time in the tournament, this time by a score of 7-1.
Lennox scored the first five runs of the game. They got three runs in the bottom of the first, one in the second, and one more in the third. Alex Adams scored on a wild pitch in the top of the fourth to make the score 5-1, but Lennox would add a single run in both the fourth and fifth innings for the win.
Boston Jensen finished with a double, and Karzen Sommervold had a single. Evan Rosheim pitched four innings and allowed six earned runs on eight hits and five walks with two strikeouts. Caleb Hansen threw two innings and allowed an earned run on two hits.
The Black Sox finished with an overall record of 11-13-1.
