Post 72 hosted the Lennox 16U team in a doubleheader on Tuesday, July 9th. Each team took a game in the doubleheader
Lennox 11, CBAH 6
A rally in the final three innings gave Lennox the win in the first game. Lennox scored a run in the top of the first for a 1-0 lead. CBAH scored two runs in the bottom of the second. After Lennox tied the game, 2-2, in the top of the third, CBAH scored two runs in the bottom of the third and another in the fourth for a 5-2 lead. Lennox tied the game with three runs in the top of the fifth. CBAH responded with a run in the bottom of the fifth and led 6-5. Lennox then scored four in the sixth and two in the seventh to take the win.
Jax Fickbohm had a double and an RBI. Ashton Oberle and Alec Austin both had a single and an RBI. Aiden Bobzin, Tucker Martz, and Ethan Bobzin all had one hit each. Evan Haak added an RBI.
CBAH 9, Lennox 8
Martz had a two-run single in the bottom of the fifth to give CBAH the walk-off win in the second game. Post 72 scored three times in the bottom of the first for a 3-0 lead. Lennox tied the game in the top of the second and then went ahead 6-3 with three more runs in the second. They would extend the lead to 7-3 with a run in the top of the fourth. CBAH rallied to tie the game 7-7 with a four-run bottom of the fourth. Lennox regained the lead 8-7 with a run in the top of the seventh.
Jacob Cole had two doubles and two RBIs. Austin had two hits, one a triple. and an RBI. Martz finished with a single and two RBIs. James Wickham had a single and an RBI. Oberle added a double, and Kasen Voss had a single.
