Post 72 CBAH Jr Legion traveled to Parkston for a game on Monday, June 24th. Parkston overcame an early deficit for an 11-6 win.
CBAH scored two runs right away in the top of the first inning. Parkston tied the game with two runs themselves in the bottom of the inning. CBAH took the lead again with a run in the top of the second. Parkston, however, took the lead back for good with a four-run bottom of the second for a 6-3 lead. They added two more runs in the bottom of the fourth. CBAH scored one run in the top of the fifth, but Parkston scored three more times in the bottom of the fifth for an 11-4 score. CBAH got two more in the top of the seventh.
A Bobzin had three hits, including two doubles. E Haak had a double and four RBIs in the game. A. Bobzin pitched 1 2/3 innings and allowed six runs, but none of them earned, on two hits and five walks with two strikeouts. K Voss threw three innings and allowed three runs, one earned, on two hits and a walk with four strikeouts. E. Bobzin pitched 1 1/3 innings and allowed two earned runs on a hit and two walks with three strikeouts.
