The Beresford/Alcester-Hudson Black Sox came up short against Lennox on Wednesday, June 19th at home, 5-3.
The Black Sox got an early lead with a run in the bottom of the first. Lennox took the lead with two runs in the top of the second inning. They increased the lead to 3-1 with another run in the top of the third. BAH got one run back in the bottom of the inning to make the score 3-2. Lennox had another two-run inning in the top of the fourth for a 5-2 lead. The Black Sox got one more run in the bottom of the fourth.
Benjamin Seeley had three hits, two of them doubles. Cameron Mullinix also had three hits, one a double. Evan Rosheim had two singles and an RBI. Boston Jensen added a double and an RBI. Karzen Soommervold, Masono Hofer, and Adam Fickbolm all had one hit each.
Rossheim pitched 2 2/3 innings and allowed three earned runs on six hits and three walks. Seeley threw 2 1/3 innings and allowed two earned runs on three hits and two walks with three strikeouts. John Savey pitched one inning and allowed one hit.
