Post 72 Jr Legion suffered another loss at the Yankton Tournament on Saturday, June 15th. Sioux Falls West defeated Post 72 by a score of 6-1.
West scored four times in the bottom of the first inning for an early 4-0 lead. Miles Eide scored in the top of the third to make the score 4-1. Sioux Falls West added another run in the bottom of the third and one in the bottom of the fifth.
Eide finished with a double. Ashton Oberle and Noah Schoenfelder both had a single each. Kasen Voss pitched four innings and allowed six runs, four earned, on six hits and two walks with eight strikeouts. Jax Fickbohm threw two innings and had one strikeouts.
