Quick Start Leads to Win for Lennox over Black Sox

Lennox scored nine times in the first two innings to help them to an 11-3 win over the Beresford/Alcester-Hudson Black Sox on Tuesday, May 14th.

Lennox scored six times in the bottom of the first and three in the bottom of the second for a 9-0 lead.  The score remained 9-0 until the top of the sixth.  Jacob Cole had an RBI single in the inning for the Black Sox.  Ian Henderson added an RBI ground out, and Lucas Anderson scored on an error to make the score 9-3.  Lennox added two more runs in the bottom of the sixth.

Ethan Bovill finished with three singles.  Joseph Anderson had two hits.  Cole finished with a single and an RBI.  Ashton Oberle and Robert Watkins both had a single.  Henderson finished with an RBI.  Cole pitched five innings and allowed two runs, both unearned, on three hits with five strikeouts.  Bovill pitched one inning and allowed nine runs, five earned, on six hits and three walks with one strikeout.
