Watchdog Track Teams Compete in Centerville

The Beresford Watchdog girls and boys track teams competed in the Centerville Relays on Tuesday, April 9th.  The boys team finished fifth with 67.5 points.  The girls team had a sixth-place finish with 44 points.

Jade Rhody won the high jump with a jump of 5’0″ and finished eighth in the triple jump.  Cassandra Twedt placed fifth in the 100m hurdles, sixth in the 200m dash, and sixth in the 300m hurdles.  Reece Olson finished fifth in the 300m hurdles and sixth in the 100m hurdles.  Harley Koth took fifth in both the discus and javelin.  Kendra Ellis was seventh in the triple jump.  The 1600m sprint medley relay team of Hanah Colford, Kylie Mockler, Hailey Hamm, and Ella Merriman took first first place.  The 4x100m relay team of Colford, Hamm, Megan Stenen, and Mocker finished third.  The 4x200m relay team of Colford, Merriman, Hamm, and Mockler also placed third.

Andrew Atwood won the 1600m run.  Brody Andrews was second in the 100m dash and fourth in the 400m dash.  Brady Aasheim placed fourth in the 200m dash and fifth in the 400m dash.  Jax Fickbohm took fourth in the 100m dash.  Seth James was fourth in the high jump, sixth in javelin, and seventh in discus.  Kohen Schurch was fifth in the 100m dash.  Brock Koth placed fifth in the high jump.  Hunter Penn placed sixth in the 1600m run.  Joseph Sharpe finished sixth in the shot put.  Payden Hoffman was eighth in the 1600m run.  Tate Lyle placed eighth in the triple jump.

The boys 1600m sprint medley relay team of Fickbohm, Schurch, Atwood, and Hayden Homandberg placed first.  The 4x400m relay team of Atwood, Andrews, Jack Stenen, and Aasheim finished second.  The 4x800m relay team of Homandberg, Penn, Hoffman, and Espyn Kungseth had a third place finish.
