The Beresford Watchdog volleyball team hosted the Elk Point-Jefferson Huskies on Tuesday, September 19th. The Huskies won in straight sets by scores of 25-12, 25-16, and 25-12.
The Huskies took a 5-1 start to the first set, and they extended the lead to 11-4. The Watchdogs got within three points 12-9, but the Huskies went on an 8-2 run to push the lead to 20-11 before winning 25-12.
Elk Point-Jefferson started the second set with a 6-1 run. Beresford again rallied early to pull within three, 8-5. Once again the Huskies responded and went on a 7-1 run to go ahead 15-6. Both teams finished the set scoring 10 points each, and the Huskies won 25-16.
The Watchdogs fell behind 5-0 to start the third set. The Huskies continued to increase their lead with scores of 11-3 and 18-4. Elk Point-Jefferson took the set 25-12.
