The Beresford Watchdog volleyball team had their first road match of the season on Tuesday, August 29th. Beresford traveled to Baltic and lost in straight sets by scores of 25-7, 25-12, and 25-6.
The Bulldogs opened the match on an 8-0 run. They pushed the lead in the opening set to 18-5 before finishing on a 7-2 run for the 25-7 win. The second set started closer with Baltic leading 5-2. The Bulldogs then went on a 9-2 run to go ahead 14-4. They continued to lead 20-10 before winning 25-12. The two teams started the third set with a 3-3 tie. Baltic went on a 6-0 run for a 9-3 advantage. Beresford was within seven points, 13-6, before the Bulldogs ended the match on a 12-0 run.
