Watchdog Competitive Dance Team Ready for 2023 Challenge

The Beresford Watchdog competitive dance team had a second place overall finish in the state competition a year ago, which included a first place score in the hip hop category and second place score in the pom category.

“Having lost four key seniors from last year, we have some big shoes to fill.  Fortunately they left a lasting impression on our returning dancers, and we have a fierce team this year that is ready for the challenge,” said co-head coach Carrie Buum.

The Watchdogs have one senior on the team this year, which is new to the team, Ada Johnson.  They also return juniors Macy Johnson (team officer) and Camryn Muhlenkort (team officer).

“Our returning dancers have stood up as leaders in getting our new team members ready.  We’ve been working hard and are excited to kick off the season,” added Buum.

The season starts in Gregory on Saturday, August 26th.
