The Beresford Watchdog girls and boys track teams will return 21 athletes from last year’s team for the 2023 season.
The Watchdogs will be led by seniors Zach Boden, Peyton Fridrich, Alex Jensen, Ryne Klungseth, Landon Schurch, Michael Shegrud, Annie Farley, Eva Schaap, Haleigh Stene, and Rachel Zanter. The teams also welcome back juniors Andrew Atwood, Andrew Niles, Ryan Sveeggen, Gaval Valder, Jack Stenen, Larissa Lyle, and Cassie Twedt. Freshmen Ella Merriman, Jade Rhody, Lily Seivert, and Keely Merrigan also return.
Newcomers to the varsity teams this year for Beresford are sophomores Jax Fickbohm, Cooper Nelson, Kohen Schurch, Joe Sharpe, and Hailey Hamm, along with freshmen Brody Andrews, Malachi James, and Kendra Ellis.
