Beresford/Alcester-Hudson Places 5th at Rider Invitational

The Beresford/Alcester-Hudson wrestling team placed fifth as a team at the 2022 Rider Invitational in Sioux Falls on Saturday, December 3rd.  The Watchdogs finished with 144.0 points.  Beresford/Alcester-Hudson had 12 place winners including Aaron Larson as the champion at 220-weight class.

Larson finished with a 4-0 record with three pins.  Landon Schurch (195-pound) finished second with a 3-1 record.  Evan Dressen (113-pound) also finished second with a 2-1 record.  Alex Jensen (285-pound) finished third with a 3-1 record.  Robert Watkins (160-pound) was also third with a 4-1 record. Dexton Miller (113-pound) placed fourth finishing 2-2 on the day.  Ben Seeley (120-pound) finished fifth with a 2-2 record. Gaval Valder (170-pound) was sixth with a 3-3 record.  Hayden Lounsbery (138-pound) placed sixth with a 1-3 record.  Kanin Klentz (126-pound) also placed sixth with a 1-2 record.  Kasen Voss (120-pound) had a sixth place finish with 1-3 record.  Riley Hanner (106-pound) was 2-3 also placing sixth.

Colton Stene (170-pound) was 2-2 on the day.  Brady Aasheim (132-pound) and Bennett Farley (106-pound) both finished 1-2 for the day.  Isaac Boden (145-pound) and Caden Schurch (145-pound) were both 0-2.
