The Beresford/Alcester-Hudson wrestling team returns six state qualifiers, two who placed, for the 2022-2023 season. Beresford/Alcester-Hudson finished 5-13 in duals and finished fifth at regions a year ago.
Two of the six state qualifiers are seniors. Landon Schurch and Aaron Larson along with fellow seniors Alex Jensen and Peyton Fridrich will lead the team. Robert Watkins (senior), Tavyn Valder (freshman), Reese Olson (8th), and Kanin Klentz (8th) are the other state qualifiers returning this season.
“This will be an improved team with multiple wrestlers that can win a lot of matches,” said head coach Brandon Chesnut.
