Beresford Competitive Dance Looking to Take Top Honors in 2022

The 2021 season for the Beresford Watchdog competitive dance team ended in a second place finish at the state competition by just a half point to Dakota Valley.  Beresford finished with 276.5 points in the Grand Champion Dance standings, while Dakota Valley had 277.  The Watchdogs finished second in both the Pom and Hip Hop categories.  This year they will be looking to bring home the state title.

The 2022 squad will be led by seniors Jayden Carlson, Annie Farley, Ellie Nothdurft, and Lillian Traxler.  Delainey Andal is the lone junior on this year’s team.  Other returning members from last year are Macy Johnson, Stella Schaap, Camryn Muhlenkort, Addi Peterson, and Izzy Beeson.  This year’s newcomers are Kendra Ellis, Jade Rhody, and Reese Olson.

The first competition for the Watchdogs will be on Saturday, August 27th at the Gregory Invitational.
