After having their winning streak snapped by Vermillion, the Cubs got back in the win column with a 10-0 win over the Parker Pheasants on Friday, May 2nd.
Alcester-Hudson scored four times in the bottom of the first and added five more in the bottom of the second for a 9-0 lead. The score remained 9-0 until the bottom of the fifth. The Cubs scored one more time in the bottom of the fifth to end the game on the 10-run rule.
Jenna Manning had two hits, one a double, and an RBI. Jaeley Christensen had two singles. Emma Moller and Laney Decker each had a double with an RBI. Delta Pies and Lexi Miller both had a single and an RBI. Moller pitched five innings without allowing a hit or walk with 14 strikeouts.
