The Alcester-Hudson Cub track teams competed in the 2025 South Dakota State B Track and Field Meet in Sioux Falls on Thursday, May 29th through Saturday, May 31st.
Emily Winquist finished seventh in the triple jump with a jump of 33’10.25″ and ninth in the long jump at 16’0.75″. Devin Hongslo was ninth in the shot put with a throw of 35’4″. Ayonna Schissel was 14th in the triple jump at 31’9.25″.
Tommy Walth placed seventh in the javelin with a throw of 152’4″ and 17th in the shot put at 41’8″. Jose Topete-Lopez took ninth in the shot put with a throw of 45’1.50″. Evan Haak placed 11th in the discus at 133’3″ and 20th in the shot put with a throw of 41’4.25″. Jackson Meyer was 12th in the triple jump at 39’0″. Izzac Sommervold was 19th in the triple jump at 37’5.5″.
