The Alcester-Hudson Cub track teams hosted the Mike Seivert Relays on Tuesday, April 22nd. The boys team had a sixth-place finish with 50 team points. The girls team finished ninth with 35.5 points.
Emily Winquist won the triple jump with a leap of 33’9″ and placed fifth in the 400m dash in 1:04.67. Emma Solberg finished third in the 300m hurdles in :51.50 and was fifth in the 200m dash with a time of :27.75. Devin Hongslo placed third in the shot put with a throw of 35’6″. Cordelia Koppman was fourth in the discus at 99’11”. Skylar Hongslo placed fifth in the 100m hurdles in :20.59. The 4x200m relay team of Winquist, Ayonna Schissel, Elsie Bovill, and Solberg finished fifth in 1:58.74.
Jose Topete-Lopez won the shot put with a throw of 46’7.5″. Tommy Walth placed first in the javelin with a throw of 138’8″. Evan Haak was second in the discus (133’2″), third in the shot put (41’9.5″), and third in the javelin (129’10”). The 4x100m relay team of Evan Brown, Brody Andrews, Darin Dykstra, and Ethan Bovill placed fourth in :45.90. The 4x400m relay team of Brown, Andrews, Dykstra, and Bovill also placed fourth in a time of 3:38.57.
