The Alcester-Hudson Cub track teams traveled to Centerville for the Centerville Relays on Tuesday, April 9th. The girls team placed fourth with 75 points, and the boys team took sixth with 56 points.
Emma Solberg took second in both the 100m dash and the 200m dash. Emily Winquist placed second in the 400m dash and fifth in the long jump. Devin Hongslo was second in the shot put, fourth in the javelin, and sixth in the discus. Carly Patrick placed third in the long jump. Ayonna Schissel had a third place finish in the triple jump. Skya Almlie was seventh in the 100m dash. Katie Patrick finished seventh in the discus. The 4x100m relay team of Schissel, Winquist, Solberg, and Patrick finished second. The 4x200m relay team of Schissel, Winquist, Almlie, and Solberg also finished second.
Mateo Kleinhans won the triple jump and was second in the 110m hurdles. Dominic Van Egdom had a second place finish in the discus and finished eighth in the javelin. Ethan Bovill took third in the 400m dash. Jose Topete-Lopez was third in the shot put. Darin Dykstra placed sixth in the 800m run. Evan Brown took sixth in the long jump. Josh Driesen was seventh in the 100m dash. Thor Korthals finished seventh in the 200m dash. The 4x200m relay team of Brown, Bovill, Dykstra, and Kleinhans finished first. The 4x400m relay team of Brown, Bovill, Dykstra and Kleinhans took fourth. The 4x100m relay team of Bovill, Brown, Driesen, and Korthals was fifth.
