The 2023 Alcester-Hudson Cubs softball team finished with a record of 14-2 and as the 2023 South Dakota State B Runner-Up in their inaugural season. The Cubs are looking to build off of last year’s strong season and be competitive on the field both defensively and offensively.
“We have a great group of girls returning, and we look for the newcomers to contribute this year,” said head coach Dean Moller.
The team will have strong leadership from seniors Sarah Ebert, Alexis Gray, and Elly Doering. The juniors are Emma Moller, Jaeley Christensen, Jenna Manning, Hannah Ahart, and Ava Kingma. This year’s sophomore is Delta Pies. The team will also look for freshmen Paxtyn Moller and Emma Solberg as well as eighth graders Laney Decker and CJ Koopman and seventh grader Brynn Ver Mulm to contribute this season as well.
