The West Central Trojan volleyball team earned another home, Dak-12 conference win on Thursday, September 25th. The Trojans defeated the Lennox Orioles in four sets.
Lennox took the first set by a score of 25-20, but West Central got stronger as the match was played. The Trojans bounced back in set two with a 25-20 win of their own to even the match at one set apiece. The Trojans then hammered out an eight-point win in the third set at 25-17 before going on cruise control in the fourth set. West Central took the fourth set 25-9 for the match win.
Grace Harden and Rachel Bucher both had 15 kills each. Brooke Opitz had a fantastic match with 40 set assists. Jenna Leuth had 22 digs and two ace serves, and Aubree Miller was strong at the net with three blocks.
West Central (4-7) will be in Volga on Monday, September 28th, to play the Sioux Valley Cossacks.
