The Dell Rapids St Mary students proclaimed two teachers “Elf for the Day” on Friday, December 12th. Over the week of December 8th through the 12th, students brought many quarters and dollars to purchase stickers. With the purchased stickers, students would place them on posters with each teacher’s name and picture on it. The two teachers with the most stickers on their poster at the end of the week were proclaimed “Elf for the Day”.
The St Mary students raised a total of $940 in the five days. The two teachers to “win” were Blaine and Cami Bacon. All the money raised was donated to the “Christmas for our Kids” program.
