  • Seniors:  Stop in the office if you would like to order an 8×10($10) or 10×13 ($15) Class of 2015 Composite picture. Deadline to order is TOMORROW!!!
  • Students: Check out the “JOB OPPORTUNTIES” posted in the office window.
  • TAKE A LOOK at the high school staff member’s baby pictures found on a poster board located in the high school office window.  Now take the opportunity to donate to the local food pantry by putting your change and/or bills in the corresponding numbered containers found in the office by Wendy’s desk.  At the end of the week the staff member who wins will dress up as a baby for a day!   Contribute to a local need and have some fun with this! Now that you have had a day to try to place who the staff member’s baby pictures are, take another look today as the names have been added.
  • The FFA Chapter will be holding a meeting on Monday, March 9 at 7 pm in the high school agriculture classroom.
  • The sign-up sheet for the FFA Career Development Event at Tri-Valley on March 23 is now posted in the agriculture classroom.
  • Seniors:  If you plan on attending any of the South Dakota Technical Schools next fall you are encouraged to stop in to see Mrs. Ruesink regarding the Build Dakota Scholarship. This full-ride scholarship will be awarded to students entering into a high-need workforce program at a technical school.
  • The University of South Dakota is hosting a Health Career Summer Camp from June 14-June 19 for current freshman, sophomore or junior students. Deadline for application is April 1st – see Mrs. Ruesink for more information.
  • ** Prom Grand March sign-up sheet is in the office, as well as Prom Forms for those that do not attend DRHS or are out of school (must not be older than 19yrs of age or one year removed from high school).
  • Attention Students: The Booster Club is looking for volunteers to help at our basketball tournament coming up TOMORROW.  Sign-up sheet is in the office.

    Boys State Applications are due to Mrs. Ruesink by March 18th
    Girls State Applications are due to Mrs. Ruesink by March 15th
  • Juniors & Seniors: Raven Industries is hosting a Manufacturing Shadow Program on April 21st for students who are undecided or planning to enter the workforce upon graduation. Students will learn about career path opportunities available with a high school diploma, technical degree and non-traditional secondary education. Applications are due March 20th- see Mrs. Ruesink for more information.
  • Any juniors interested in taking online dual credit courses via the governor’s reduced cost dual credit program should see Mrs. Kludt ASAP.  Registration for these courses is open on February 23.  Courses will most likely fill up quickly so you will want to register soon.  Available courses are listed on the SDMyLife website.

  • There will be a girls track meeting in Coach Putnam’s room Monday after school for all students interested in track.
  • Congrats to the Lady Q’s!!  Headed to the State Tournament in Watertown next Thursday, Friday and Saturday!! State t-shirts for sale – forms are in the office.  Order & payment due Monday by noon.

  • Last Friday was the State HS Bowling tournament at Sport Bowl. We had 9 bowlers compete. It was a fun day & a great end to the season.
    For the girls: Ashley W., Alicia T.,  Haley E., Katie J., Alexis E. & Veronica F.  They took 7th place.  Alicia had high game with a 231.
    For the boys: Hunter G., Brady G., Tim J., Aaron F. & Josh F.  They took 9th place.  Hunter had high game with a 215
