Dolores Kangley died at Dougherty Hospice House, Sioux Falls, SD, March 17, 2015, surrounded by family who sang her to Heaven.
Dolores Jeanette Leopard, daughter of Lee and Thelma (Barton) Leopard, was born July 15, 1929, in her maternal grandmother’s house in Waterloo, Iowa. Dolores is survived by three sons: Daniel (Jeanne) Kangley, Sioux Falls, SD; David (Rose) Kangley, Dell Rapids; Douglas (Jean) Kangley, Sioux Falls, SD; four daughters: Debra (Steven) Duncan, Monticello, Minn., Diana (Myron) Nohava, Baltic, SD; Doreen (Jay) Hardy, Sioux Falls, SD; Denise Charlton, Sioux Falls, SD; 20 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; two sisters: Elizabeth Berger, Pennsylvania, and Kathy Geffre, Aberdeen, SD. She was preceded in death by her husband Don, parents, and brother Donald Leopard.
Visitation with family present will be 5pm-7pm Friday, March 20, 2015, at Barnett-Lewis Funeral Home, Sioux Falls, SD, with prayer service at 7pm.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am, Saturday, March 21, 2015, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Sioux Falls, SD. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, Sioux Falls, SD.
