The Sioux River Red Rock Trail Committee will be holding a community meeting on Sunday, April 19th, at 4:00 p.m. at the Dell Rapids City Park picnic shelter. The public is invited to learn about upcoming trail projects and share ideas for future trail growth.
St. Mary School will have their Kindergarten screening Friday, April 24th.

We are also enrolling for Preschool, and we offer a three-four age group and a four-five age group.
The 3rd Annual Relay For Life Run
10K Run, 5K Run, 1 mile Walk, and Kids’ Relay Race

- All proceeds go to the Dell Rapids Relay For Life.
- Start and finish at the Dell Rapids City Park
- Registrations accepted until April 25, but t-shirt sizes not guaranteed after April 10.
- Children under the age of 16 MUST be accompanied by an adult.

1 mile is open to everyone and is stroller- and child-friendly – only the adult must pay entry fee to participate. Extra t-shirts are available (see below). Registration is 8:30-9:15am at the Ball Diamond on South Side of River.
10K and 5K are hand timed and include an event t-shirt. Prizes awarded to the top male and female finisher in each division for both races: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over. Registration & Warm-Up: 10k – 8:00-8:45am, 5k – 8:30-9:15am – both at the Ball Diamond on South Side of River.
Kids’ Relay Race is a four-person baton relay race, which is hand timed and includes an event t-shirt. Course will begin at Dell Rapids City Park (north side of the river) and will continue on the bike path through the park. Participants must enter as a team of four. Teams will compete in age group divisions: 6-7, 8-9, and 10-12. Prizes awarded to all runners. Check in at 10:30 in City Park.

- peanut butter and jelly
- laundry supplies
- boxed meals
- baked beans (not green)
Items can be dropped off at either the Methodist Church or put in the Lutheran Church of Dell Rapids’ grocery cart just inside the entryway.
