The Dell Rapids St Mary Cardinal and Dell Rapids Quarrier cross country teams participated in the Jesse James Invitational in Garretson on Tuesday, September 8th.
The Cardinal girls finished seventh as a team with 129 points. The Quarrier girls placed eighth with a total of 138 points. Sioux Falls Christian won the team title with 17 points. Flandreau was second with 44 points, and Beresford placed third with 46 points.

The Cardinal boys team finished sixth overall with a total of 98 points. The Quarrier boys team did not register a team score. Sioux Falls Christian also won the boys division with 10 points. Beresford was second with 56 points, and Flandreau placed third with 70 points.
