The Dell Rapids Quarrier volleyball team was defeated by the McCook Central\/Montrose Cougars 20-25, 25-16, 20-25, 23-25 on Tuesday, September 30th, in Dell Rapids.<\/p>\n

Tiffany Finkral had 13 service points and a season-high 12 kills in the match.\u00a0 Brittany Kludt had nine kills and three blocks for the Quarriers.\u00a0 Sara Haak finished the match with 28 set assists.\u00a0 Defensively for Dell Rapids, Shelby Wrage led the team with 12 digs.\u00a0 Baily Munk added 10 digs.<\/p>\n

Dell Rapids falls to 7-9 on the year.\u00a0 The Quarriers will travel to Lennox to take on the Orioles on Thursday, October 2nd.<\/p>\n

JV Results:<\/strong><\/span>
\nThe JV team lost to the Cougars 2-1.\u00a0 Sami Reider and Hannah Welbig anchored the backrow play.\u00a0 Sara Van Regenmorter, Kiah Schumacher, and Trinity Gordon were cited for the offensive leadership.<\/span><\/p>\n
