The Dell Rapids Quarrier girls ended their three-game losing streak with a 50-25 win against the Sisseton Redmen on Monday, February 17th, in Sisseton. The Quarriers raced out to a 15-7 lead at the end of the first quarter and never looked back. The lead was 12 points for Dell Rapids at halftime, 28-16. The Dell Rapids defense held the Redmen to just nine second half points for the win.

Averi Pankonen had 17 points for Dell Rapids to lead the Quarriers. Mikaela Stofferahn tossed in eight points, and Sami Reider added seven points for Dell Rapids. Cami Goodhart led Sisseton with 11 points.

Dell Rapids improves to 10-9 on the year. The Quarriers will play their final regular season game at home on Thursday, February 19th, as Dell Rapids will host Madison. The game will be webcast on Big Sioux Media.
