The Dell Rapids St Mary Cardinal Cross Country teams participated in the Dakota Valley Conference cross country meet held at the Kingsbury County Country Club in DeSmet on Wednesday, October 8th. The Cardinal girls team finished third with 27 points. Deubrook Area won the conference meet with 12 points, followed by DeSmet with 21 points. Estelline finished fourth and Lake Preston was fifth. The St Mary boys team finished fifth with a team score of 45. Elkton-Lake Benton won the boys conference meet with 20 points. DeSmet was second with 21 points, followed by Deubrook Area with 23 points, and Oldham-Ramona/Rutland with 24 points.
