The Dell Rapids Quarrier boys golf team finished second out of 12 teams at the Vermillion Invitational in Vermillion on Thursday, September 11th. Vermillion won the event on their home course with a team score of 315. Dell Rapids finished with 321, while Parkston finished third at 336.
Adam Karst finished in a tie with Andrew Heine of Vermillion with a round of 76, but Karst officially finished second in the meet. Devon Weber finished fourth with a 78. Ty Hoglund shot a round of 82 and finished ninth. Mason Schmidt finished with an 85 and finished 15th. Jordan Kerns had an 86 on the day, and Josh Parrott finished with an 87.
Dell Rapids will play in the Madison Invite at the Madison Country Club on Monday, September 18th.
