St Mary 1st, Dell Rapids 2nd at Cheer Competition

The Dell Rapids St Mary Cardinals took first place in the small group cheer competition, while Dell Rapids finished second in the large group at the Dell Rapids Cheer and Dance Competition on Monday, September 8th, held at Dell Rapids High School.

Sioux Valley took first place in the large group division, and was named grand champion with a score of 145.5  Dell Rapids St Mary finished second behind Sioux Valley overall with a score of 140.

Dakota Valley was named grand champion of the dance competition with an average score of 159.  Northwestern finished second with a score of 119.5.
