The Dell Rapids Quarriers boys golf team earned their third tournament win in as many tournaments on Monday, August 25th. Playing in the Dell Rapids Tournament held at Rocky Run Golf Course, the Quarriers posted a team score of 306, 32 shots better than second place Madison. Parkston finished third also posting a team score of 338. Sioux Valley was fourth at 339, and Canton finished fifth with a team score of 340.
Dell Rapids had four individuals earn medalist honors at the event. Adam Karst finished first with a round of 71. Ty Hoglund was one shot behind finishing second with a 72. Mason Schmidt placed seventh with a final score of 80, and Devon Weber finished 10th with a round of 83. Josh Parrott ended the day with an 85, and Jordan Kerns had a round of 92.
Dell Rapids will participate in the Sioux Falls Christian Invite on Thursday, August 28th, at Bakker’s Crossing Golf Course.
